We loved the spacious layout of the condo. Also we really appreciated the complimentary upgrade. The proximity to the water was great, showers had great pressure, the kitchen was accommodating for cooking, and parking was easy. We did expect a better ocean view as requested and per the pictures advertised. We had a view of the ocean from the side of the property.

I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The apartment was very spacious, and even though the view was described as garden, we could see the ocean. Pools seem nice, although we only visited it once. The beach is very nice and sandy. The apartment was clean, the AC was working well and quiet. We didn’t hear noises from other rooms, only crazy birds before sunrise. The hotel is little bit used but nothing disturbing. The parking loot was great, very spacious.

We like how close the location is to the beach. Literally walking distance. We also like that there is two pools so we did not feel overcrowded. The location of the hotel to a nearby food truck lot was also nice and you’re not too far from shopping centers like Whalers village or local restaurants like The Gazebo and hikes like the pacific coast trail.

The room was big, and the best part is having a full functional kitchen, washer and dryer, which worked for a family of four. The resort is well maintained. Nice garden and swimming pools. Beautiful oceanfront. Perfect destination for chasing sunrise and sunset. It’s close to everything: food truck, restaurants and ABC store is a short walk, gas station nearby, snorkeling and other swimming gear rental services inside and in front of the hotel.

Fantastic views; lovely staff. Kids loved the grounds and the pool. Rooms and bathrooms nice. Easy access to grocery store across street. Amenities were convenient. A few miles from fantastic snorkeling and you can rent gear at property. We liked that there wasn’t a boardwalk with constant people in front of it. It gave a more peaceful vibe than in southern Kaanapali resorts.

The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable; the common areas are great and there’s a lot to choose from: two swimming pools, a restaurant (where the food and cocktails were delicious and the prices were reasonable), all kinds of shops inside the resort and outside, nearby and within a walking distance, making the location of the resort great, even though if it’s an hour drive from the airport. The staff was very friendly, especially Vange, who checked us in and informed us we had been given a complimentary room upgrade as well as a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon, who also checked us out, explaining everything about the property to us; Christopher, who booked put amazing helicopter tour for us; and Linda, who booked our Luau to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the manta ray snorkelling, which we both did on the Big Island after we checkout out from this resort.

Everything about the accommodation made the time in Maui a great experience. Firta made my check-in (and every time I needed assistance) a pleasant interaction. She was always giving aloha vibes, you get a lei when you’re there which adds to memorable welcoming. The apartment is huge, it was extremely clean, organized and the decor is fully themed after Hawai’i. They also provide activities, although I didn’t participate in any. The pools are big, the water at a nice temperature with plenty chairs, towels are also included. You can rent beach stuff for a fair rice and you can also enjoy the restaurant by the pool with sea views. As for location it is not far from Kahului, however if you’re visiting the Haleakalā or the road to Hanā add at least a 40 min drive to the start of either road to the attraction. The beach is nice but there are strong current and sometimes big waves so you have to be aware as there’s no lifesavers on duty. All in all my time in Maui was great and part of it was due to Aston Kaapanapali.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! It was our first time to Hawaii and Kaanapali Shores was perfect..pools were nice, right on the ocean, near stores and restaurants. It's kind of a trek from the airport and all the "tourist" activities on Maui that people will suggest, but well worth it for what you get.

The premises are wonderful, nice pools and beach, 1 bedroom studio apartment is nice, clean and confrontable (except for the sofa bed in the living room that is very UNCORFOTABLE) the kitchen is fully equipped
